National Restrictions and Visiting
09 November 2020Following the governments national restrictions that began on 5th November until 2nd December we have been looking at ways we can help you stay in touch with your loved one.
Our main priority is ensuring your loved one is safe, and receiving the care and support they need. Each one of our services is unique in its layout, environment and facilities, so when assessing the risks around visits we look at each service individually to ensure your loved ones views, your views, their needs, and their health and wellbeing needs are a focus in the decisions.
We continue to rigorously follow the Government and Public Health guidelines across all services. Our contingency plans are fully implemented and reviewed daily, and our senior team remain on call to support all services. Our staff teams have been working hard to ensure your loved one has support to keep up with their hobbies and interests, and have been planning safe and fun activities to keep people engaged, active and healthy.
This month we are launching an exciting, new intiative aimed at supporting our Autism Plus families during these challenging times. This will help families to be involved in their loved ones support - look out for more information coming to you soon!
Please do reach out to your local manager and support team with any questions.
