Autism Plus Specialist Employment Support are hosting a SEND apprenticeship fair for individuals with neurodivergent/SEND needs from around the Sheffield area.

This is an apprenticeship opportunity fair for anyone with SEND or neurodivergent needs from across the Sheffield area to come along and meet local apprenticeship providers and find out about opportunities to suit your needs. You will also be able to find out about the support available from the SEND Youth Hub and how we can support to secure and sustain employment.

Autism Plus Specialist Employment Support are offering a free one hour webinar on supporting social communication at work.

This session is aimed a providing a greater insight into how social communication can cause challenges for neurodivergent employees where this not clear, how you can improve communication across your team and creating inclusive communication ongoing.

This is an awareness event for employers to come and along and access a morning of training and learning from our Specialist Employment team. You will gain an increased awareness of neurodiversity in the workplace. We will also provide an introduction to LGBTQ+ and Neurodiversity in the workplace.

Alongside the training, there will be an opportunity to find out more about the funded support available from our specialist employment team to help you as an employer recruit neurodivergent talent into your workplace.
