Introducing The Chocolate Skills Academy - A New Programme from Park House Barns

We are thrilled to introduce the Chocolate Skills Academy - a new programme from Park House Barns, an Autism Plus social enterprise, designed to empower adults with autism and learning disabilities. Through hands-on chocolate making, participants gain valuable life and work skills in a supportive and creative setting, with additional employment support to help them on their journey to independence.

At the Chocolate Skills Academy, participants will learn essential skills, including:

• Chocolate Making: Mastering techniques like tempering, moulding, and decorating
• Workplace Skills: Developing teamwork, time management, and effective communication
• Customer Service: Engaging in a real-world setting
• Creative Expression: Designing custom chocolates and exploring unique flavour pairings
• Employment Readiness: Building confidence and job skills for future work opportunities
