Finding a New Home And Building Independence

Meet Frank! 

Frank lives independently in his own home with support from the supported living team for a few hours each day. When we first met Frank in 2018 he was feeling isolated alone and he was living away from his family and friends. He told us he wanted to move closer to his family, so the Autism Plus supported living team helped him find a flat in his hometown. Frank told us that he wanted more independence, a consistent support team, and to feel safe in his new home.

The team works with Frank every day to help him make choices and gain independence. They support him at home, and in the local community through shopping, visiting friends, and participating in activities he enjoys.
