Celebrating 30 Years - Congratulations Bernard

We are thrilled to share the exciting news that Bernard has reached an incredible milestone of 30 years of service at Autism Plus. Three decades ago, he embarked on a journey with Autism Plus in Thorne. With a passion for horticulture, Bernard has played a vital role in supporting adults with autism and learning disabilities at our day service in Thorne, empowering the people we support to develop confidence and learn new skills.

We recently presented Bernard with a well-deserved long service award. Debbie Allsworth, our Head of Operations, expressed her gratitude to Bernard and presented him with a token of appreciation, including a cheque, flowers, and cakes.

Please join us in celebrating Bernard's achievement and the contributions he has made to Autism Plus and the lives of the individuals he has supported throughout the years.

"I would give them 100 per cent. They are amazing, they have changed my (family member’s) life. My (family member) has achieved so much, because they have put in so much. It was a year since (family member) moved in and they had a really big cake for (family member), to celebrate."
