Celebrating 25 years of Dedication and Service

In June we bid a fond farewell to one our trustees, David Oldroyd, as he embarks on a well-deserved retirement. For an incredible 25 years, David has been an invaluable member of our charity board.

Throughout his tenure, David's wisdom and expertise have helped shape our vision, ensuring that we stay true to our mission and continue to support those in need.

To express our thanks we organised a special farewell lunch for David to celebrate his remarkable achievements. We presented David with a collection of cards and gifts to say thank you for his contribution to Autism Plus over the last 25 years. It is not generally recognised that David, and indeed all of our trustee board members, are volunteers. That is to say they are not paid for their service to Autism Plus. David has contributed a tremendous service as a stalwart of the organisation and his contribution has been nothing short of outstanding.

We are delighted to announce that David will hold the position of Life President of Autism Plus, a role that acknowledges his great legacy and continued influence.

As we bid David farewell, we extend our sincere thanks for his long- standing dedication and commitment. We wish David a Happy and fulfilled life in retirement and we offer him our thanks and congratulations in his new role as Life President of Autism Plus.
