A Fresh New Look: The People We Support Redecorate Their Living Room

In our Hull Supported Living service the individuals we support have come together to create a warm and inviting space that truly feels like home. Over the past few months, they’ve been saving up together and planning a complete redecoration of their living room, with support from our dedicated staff team.

The project was a team effort, with everyone involved in every step of the process. From selecting the perfect paint colour to picking out new furniture, the group were engaged in making decisions that reflected their personal tastes. They even chose a brand new sofa, new furniture, and made sure to add the finishing touches, such as selecting a fresh set of blinds for the room.

The transformation didn’t stop at the décor. They also purchased a new TV to complete their refreshed living space.

With staff on hand to provide support, everyone worked together to paint the walls and build the furniture, creating a sense of achievement and pride in their shared accomplishment. The newly decorated living room is now a vibrant space that the individuals can enjoy together, knowing that they made it their own through their hard work and collaboration.

We’re incredibly proud of the people we support for their effort and teamwork, and it’s a reminder of the importance of supporting individuals to make choices and take ownership in their own spaces.
