Dack

Dack’s family have shared their thanks with Kirsty and the staff team at Autism Plus in Thorne, recognising the difference their support has made to Dack’s life and to their own peace of mind.

Dack is supported by Kirsty and her team within our Supported Living service. His parents say the care, consistency and understanding shown by staff have helped Dack feel settled, safe and happy, something that means a great deal to the whole family.

They shared:

“We would just like to take a minute to thank Kirsty and the staff team. You all give 100% to making sure Dack is settled and happy. We can finally relax knowing we do not need to worry about Dack’s future. When the time comes and we are no longer here, we know staff will always go above and beyond to support his wellbeing and happiness. Dack has a good quality of life and is given opportunities to try new experiences. Thank you to everyone, including the Autism Plus staff working behind the scenes.”

For Dack’s family, knowing he is supported by people who understand him has brought reassurance and confidence about the future. They know he is surrounded by people who care about him as an individual and support him to live life in a way that works for him.

Kirsty and the team continue to support Dack with warmth, consistency and respect, showing the difference that person centred support can make, not just to the people we support, but to their families too.
