Wingspan Chocolate Featured in the Yorkshire Post

We were delighted to see Wingspan Chocolate featured in the Yorkshire Post as part of a special article celebrating Autism Plus' 40th anniversary. The feature highlighted the impact of our services and shone a spotlight on Wingspan Chocolate, our social enterprise in Knaresborough, North Yorkshire.

Wingspan Chocolate combines handcrafted Yorkshire chocolate with meaningful training and employment opportunities for autistic people, people with Down syndrome and adults with learning disabilities. Through our social enterprise, we support individuals to develop skills, build confidence and gain valuable workplace experience in a supportive environment.

The article reflected on the growth of Autism Plus over the past 40 years and highlighted the important role our social enterprises play in creating opportunities for people who may otherwise face barriers to employment. It also showcased the work of the Chocolate Factory, which produces premium chocolate enjoyed by customers across the UK.
