Placement Opportunities at our Chocolate Shop and Cafe
04 August 2026Are you looking to develop new skills, build confidence and gain valuable work experience in a supportive environment?
We currently have a limited number of placement opportunities available at our Chocolate Shop & Café in Easingwold for individuals aged 18 and over with autism or learning disabilities.
Placements are designed to provide hands on experience in a real working environment, helping people develop practical skills, confidence and independence. Typical placements last around three months.
During a placement, individuals will have the opportunity to learn and develop skills in areas such as:
- Customer service
- Coffee making and barista skills
- Hospitality and café service
- Food preparation and presentation
- Stock management
- Teamwork and communication
- Maintaining a clean and safe environment
- Workplace confidence and employability skills
Our Chocolate Shop & Café provides a friendly and supportive setting where individuals can gain meaningful experience while contributing to a busy and welcoming community venue.
