01 April 2021April is Autism Awareness Month, throughout the month we are raising awareness, understanding and celebrating autism.
Did you know autism affects around 1 in 100 people in the UK? It is estimated that around 70% of people who have been diagnosed with autism have a related condition such as a learning disability, mental health conditions and epilepsy.
Getting the right support in place for people with autism, and their families can be life changing, which is why at Autism Plus we make sure we get the right support in place, at the right time to help people to reach their full potential.
To get involved all you need to do is get out, whether you are walking, running or sprinting and count your steps! Send us a picture of your totals by social media or email info@autismplus.co.uk

"We attended a Coronation afternoon with our son, what an amazing afternoon we had! I would like to pass on our thanks to the staff concerned for organising the occasion. The food and drinks were delicious and plentiful. We were made to feel very welcome, the staff were very attentive and nothing was too much trouble.
