The Step Forward Programme offers specialist support to adults who have autism in Wakefield who are looking to move into education or employment.
The programme helps people in overcoming barriers, developing self-confidence and self-awareness.
The programme includes one to one sessions, social groups and job clubs.

This programme is free!
The Step Forward project is funded under the PEAT projet in partnership with Wakefield Council.
The People Enabling Area Transformation (PEAT) Project is a Community Led Local Development (CLLD) Programme.
Where is it available?
Our sessions are available in the Wakefield District. Due to funding criteria, eligibility is based on postcode.
The eligible postcodes are:
